THE Staging PROCESS

01
Initial Consultation

During our listing appointment, we decide whether or not it is necessary to have staging in your home before putting it on the market. We pick 2-3 key areas of focus.

02
Decluttering

Before professional photos and showings, I give advice on where we need to declutter. We use existing decor and furniture for staging your home as much as possible.

03
New Furniture & Decor

If necessary, I bring in new furniture and decor items to stage the key focus areas we established in our initial consultation.

04
Sold!

After your home is under contract and well past the inspection phase, my team will come back to your home and remove anything we added.

Have Questions About Design?

Check out our FAQs for designing your home in Owensboro, KY.

This really depends on your wants and needs. Do you love your neighborhood but hate your house? If so, it might be best to remodel the parts of your home that you hate. Do you need more square footage because you have a growing family? In that case, it might be better to sell your home and buy a bigger one to meet your needs. Let’s chat to decide which option is best.

This is another question that really depends on the situation. If your home has some major flaws that will turn away buyers, it might be a good idea to fix those items first before putting your home on the market. However, you always have to be careful not to spend too much on a remodel just to sell your home. It’s always a good idea to hire someone to help before making big design moves. You want to choose finishes that most buyers will like, and make sure you don’t spend more than what you can get back in the sale of your home. If you’re thinking about doing this, let’s chat!

If you want to do a light remodel before selling, I would start with lower cost items such as paint and flooring. Give me a call so we can talk about the best color choices and flooring options that buyers will love.
